- To develop a new conceptual-methodological framework for the study of territorial identity as a local and regional development resource;
- To provide empirical evidence of the role of development stakeholders in consumption and reproduction of existing and formation of new features of territorial identity in the "Oeste" Region; and
- To generate public and professional awareness on territorial identity as a key factor of competitive development.
