Objectives:

To contribute to the synergy between urban growth and agricultural development in the urban fringe of Hanoi and Nanjing in order to improve the welfare of rural and urban communities;
To set up stakeholder platforms as a basis for considering possible scenarios concerning peri-urban land use planning and resource management that arise from the research.
